Tom’s art shares his joy of life, whether Life drawing at the Cellar Art Club or landscape painting, inspired by the wonderful people and places on the Sussex Coast and Southdown scenery.
“I make pictures to express things often difficult to put into words”.
Tom studied at Fine Art and Communications at Cass school in London (1991-96), and a Master of Fine Art at University of Brighton (2017-19), research into a couple of influential Franks: Bowling’s poetic abstracts and Brangwyn’s figurative prints, impacted his own art.
Tom’s describes art as both a passion and form of mediation too.
